Classified K-9 Unit Christmas book review

Image
Danger never takes a holiday... I always love reading the Christmas K-9 book at the end of a K-9 Unit series. Even though everything about the Classified K-9 Unit was wrapped up in Tracker, you get to go back a little and revisit the characters because they all make an appearance.  There are two books in one: A Killer Christmas by Lenora Worth where FBI K-9 agent Nina Atkins and US marshal Thomas Grant team up to catch a dangerous killer after Nina stops him from killing again. It's up to Thomas to keep her safe and catch the killer.  In Yuletide Stalking by Terri Reed, FBI agent Tim Ramsey and his K-9 partner, a German Shepherd named Frodo, must protect Vickie Petrov, the only witness of the dangerous arsonist Tim is after.  Classified K-9 Unit Christmas was released December 2017

Tracker by Lenora Worth book review (book 6 in the Classified K-9 Unit)

"I'm not leaving without my son." He pressed the gun against her spine, the cold muzzle chilling against her thin shirt. Tracker is the thrilling end to The Classified K-9 Unit series. Lenora Worth's stories are always filled with hope, love forgiveness, and faith. And of course tons of action. Zeke Marrow had the difficult job of protecting his brother's ex-girlfriend and her son Kevin. Zeke wasn't one hundred percent sure he could trust Penny Potter. But he soon realized she wanted nothing to do with Jake except to stop him. Zeke and Penny took risks and in the end, decided it was worth it.  Tracker by Lenora Worth was released September 2017

If the Everglades didn't kill her, her uncle would. Either way, Esme Dupree was going to die.  The thrilling fifth installment of the Classified K-9 Unit by Shirlee McCoy didn't disappoint.  Esme Dupree has been on the run for months, trying to stay one step ahead of her uncle and the authorities. It's a struggle to stay alive. And she still has to make it until her brother's trial. Ian Slade has been filled with revenge and hate for the Duprees ever since Reginald Dupree killed his parents. And he's vowed to take them down. Now, he's charged with the task of keeping Esme safe until the trial. He doesn't think he can manage it. But as Ian and Esme are on the run through the Florida Everglades, he slowly starts to realize, with a lot of help from God and a little help from Esme, that revenge and justice are not the same thing.  Bodyguard by Shirlee McCoy was released August 2017

Bounty Hunter by Lynette Eason book review (book 4 in the Classified K-9 Unit)

"Your danger level is going to skyrocket if you hang around me."    "Because?"   "Van Blackman's not only my sister's killer, he's vowed to kill me,      too."    Bounty Hunter by Lynette Eason is the fourth installment of the           Classified K-9 Unit series. I found it very riveting and filled with   suspense. Riley Martelli is a bounty hunter on a mission to find his   sister's killer and get justice for his injured nephew. The K-9 team are   still on the lookout for Agent Jake Marrow. Harper Prentiss teams up   with Riley and they vow to find both Jake and Van and bring them to     justice.   Bounty Hunter by Lynette Eason was released July 2017

Special Agent by Valerie Hansen book review (book 3 in the Classified K-9 Unit)

He didn't care if the whole world thought he was inflexible and opinionated. He did his job. And never lost focus. Not anymore.  The thrilling third installment of The Classified K-9 Unit was filled with twists and turns and non-stop action. Katerina Garwood has had her reputation dragged through the mud due to getting involved with a man who wasn't who he said he was. Now she's being threatened because the men her former fiance worked for think he gave her something to hide for him. It's up to Special Agent in Charge Max West and his partner, a boxer named Opal, to keep Katerina safe and figure out who her stalker truly is. Even if Max isn't one hundred percent sure that Katerina isn't involved somehow, he's determined to protect her no matter what. And he never intended to let his emotions take over, because of a similar scenario that happened in the past. But there's just something about Katerina that pulls Max in and makes him want to believe in her

Sheriff by Laura Scott book review (book 2 in the Classified K-9 Unit)

"You know you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, right?" she countered. "You were scaring the poor guy to death. We need the truth, not something fabricated to avoid being arrested." Laura Scott's books are always action-packed with danger and romance, and her book, Sheriff, is no different. It's the second story in the Classified K-9 Unit series. They pick up months after Guardian, number one in the series, and the FBI still haven't found their missing agent. Agent Julianne Martinez is back in her hometown of Clover County, Texas, for one purpose and one purpose only. To find Agent Jake Marrow. Instead she gets sucked into a tricky, dangerous case when she witnesses a jail break. And the sheriff who comes to her rescue is none other than Brody Kenner...the man she left behind. With everything that had happened between them six years ago, Julianne isn't sure they'll be able to work together to get the case solved. As the threats a

Close enough to protect them should the need arise. But as he stared into her pale blue eyes, he wondered if he would be the one needing protection from his burgeoning feelings for this woman by the time all was said and done.   The beginning of the Classified K-9 Unit did not disappoint. Filled with action and cliffhangers, it was hard to put down. FBI agent Leo Gallagher is filled with guilt about his past and fears due to his mistakes he doesn't deserve happiness. Alicia Duncan thinks that all men are like her late husband and vowed the only things she needed in life were her son, Charlie, her father and her faith. After seeing a body dumped into the river, her whole world is turned upside down. Even through the danger and chaos, Leo and Alicia find the kind of love they'd always wanted.  Guardian by Terri Reed was released April 2017
